Setting New Standards In
Green Building Technology

This is our city.
this is our purpose.

It's time for a change in how we do business.
This generation of millennial workers understands that
the future of our planet and its ability to support human life
rests squarely on their shoulders. And they want to work
for companies, and in workspaces, that reflect
and embrace these same values.

"We've made an unparalleled commitment to
sustainability in this community, to this city, and to
the people who want to live and work here."

Using Less Energy
Far Less

Buildings in the U.S. consume 41% of all generated energy.
We're daring to be different. 3.0 University Place is targeting ambitious energy
efficiency goals that exceed all industry standards. In total, we anticipate at least
50% energy savings when compared to existing office buildings nationwide.

Here's how we're doing it

  • SageGlass facade blocks heat gain in the summer months
  • Semco Chilled Beam heating and cooling system that draws and purifies
outside air, reducing indoor carbon dioxide and minimizing fan energy when
compared to conventional forced air systems
  • High efficiency LED lighting connected to sophisticated lighting controls
that turn off lights when they're not needed
  • A green, vegetated roof that collects stormwater overflow into cisterns for reuse
in the building's cooling system and for irrigation during dry periods
